Wine Shop

Houlton Wines was first opened as a wine shop over 25 years ago. Originally we sold just wines and spirits.

Licensed Wholesale Supplies

As the business grew, it became unwieldy (by this point we sold wine, beer, spirits, soft drinks...you name it we sold it!). So we split the company into two. Houlton Wines became the wine shop, and our brand new company, LWS (Licensed Wholesale Supplies), handled the rest. Houlton Wines is supplied by that new company.

Our Wine Club.

On the foundations of LWS and Houlton Wines, our Internet Wine Club was finally born. Our main aim: to provide higher quality wines to as many people as we can, by trying to sell at the lowest price we can. Of course, we all need to make a living, but our love for wine is what drives us, and any wine is made immeasurably better by sharing.
